Many of us enjoy our sport so much we can’t resist trying to persuade others to take it up, often by getting involved in coaching, teaching or leading. Developing people’s skills is very rewarding and helps to improve your performance as well. Centres are always looking for staff and are keen to help them progress.
Snowsport Cymru Wales manages and delivers the UK Snowsport Awards in Wales. This is a training and qualification programme for aspiring Instructors, Coaches and Leaders who want to work throughout the UK through clubs and facilities, or on an individual basis. The courses are recognised throughout Great Britain.
To get started in the UK Snowsport Awards Scheme first register for a course – click here. You need to be at least 14 years old to start your training, and you must be over 16 years old before qualifying.

We run a range of coach and instructor training courses at our accredited training centres throughout Wales, which include up to a year’s free membership.
Looking to revalidate your UKSS qualification? This can be achieved by attending day 1 on most of our training weekends, cost = £100.00.
