The Snowsport Wales Freestyle Pathway is a new initiative designed to grow and structure freestyle skiing across Wales. The pathway provides a clear and progressive route for young freestyle athletes.

The programme focuses on developing core freestyle skills, creativity, confidence, and competition readiness. Through dedicated freestyle camps, structured training sessions, and supported competition opportunities, athletes can progress within a defined Welsh pathway while still remaining connected to their local clubs.
Importantly, this pathway is about creating opportunity and accessibility. It provides a supportive environment for athletes who want to explore freestyle more seriously, whether they are coming from a recreational background or transitioning from alpine or race training.
Our goal is to build a strong freestyle community in Wales, raise standards of coaching and performance, and provide young athletes with a clear route from local participation to national level competition.
