Snowsport Cymru Wales is committed to ensuring everyone can enjoy snowsport activities in a safe and positive environment.
We provide a range of support, including processing Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks*, and regular online Safeguarding and Protecting Children training to safeguard the welfare of our participants and promote positive physical and mental health and wellbeing. All participants need to feel comfortable enough to share concerns and challenge poor practice.

Everyone has a responsibility to ensure the welfare of young people. All clubs, academies, associations and individuals are bound by Snowsport Cymru Wales’ Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy.
*Please visit our membership benefits – DBS Checking Service page for details of the DBS processing service we offer. Current Snowsport Cymru Wales members save part of the processing fee.
** Details of our Safeguarding and Protecting Children training courses are on our Coach and Instructor Training Programmes page. These courses are discounted for current Snowsport Cymru Wales members.
