Schools Ski Racing

The Welsh Schools Skiing Series provides an excellent opportunity for young children to get involved with ski racing through their local slope. 

 

Programme of Schools Events

Each year Snowsport Cymru Wales organise a series of regional schools skiing events which are ideal for new club skiers to get into ski racing. They also provide a great chance to get some racing under your feet before stepping up to the Welsh Schools Championships.

Welsh Schools Championships 2021

Our Welsh Schools Championships took place at Llangrannog ski slope on the 9th & 10th October 2021.

Please note that all competition entries are normally required to be made online. If Schools wish to enter pupils directly and pay entry fees by invoice, please contact Snowsport Cymru Wales Admin Manager by email ASAP : admin@snowsportwales.net

All entries must also complete and return a Competitor Entry Detail Form by close of entry date of the competitions.

In order to ensure delivery of an effective event, and improve capacity management at these events, we will run our schools championships over two days with the following programme:

ADDITIONAL PRACTICE SESSIONS – £10 per head (paid directly to the ski centre)
