Clwb Rasio Bica is a snowsports club based at Canolfan Sgio Llangrannog in Mid-Wales. The name Bica comes from Carreg Bica, the famous rock of Llangrannog beach. Legend has it that Carreg Bica is the tooth of the giant Bica who lived in the Ceredigion area, and was forced to spit his tooth onto the beach following a bad toothache.

With a name that comes from legend, we aim to positively promote and increase participation in Snowsports within Ceredigion and beyond to create the next legends in snowsports!

Through activities run by the centre, and through club sessions, we provide a fun and safe environment to:

•     Increase participation in Snowsports

•     Develop and build Snowsports skills

•     Generate opportunities and support for those wishing to take part in competitive activities

•     Access structured training and development in line with national Snowsport pathways

•     Maximise the Welsh language through sport

The club builds on the great success Urdd Gobaith Cymru has had introducing snowsports to children across Wales for decades and creates a platform for people in Ceredigion to compete in snowsports and access development and progression through the Snowsports Cymru Wales athlete pathways.
