Snowsport Cymru Wales offers a comprehensive programme of ski race training camps across both artificial surfaces and on-snow environments for the remainder of this year and into spring/summer 2026.
Our domestic dry slope camps are delivered in collaboration with local clubs across Wales, providing accessible, high-quality race training within familiar environments and supporting grassroots development.
Alongside this, our alpine programme is delivered in partnership with Dragons Alpine Racing, offering athletes the opportunity to train in more advanced environments. These camps range from indoor snow training at centres such as Neuss (Germany), to on-snow camps further afield including Geilo (Norway) and Champéry (Switzerland), all supported by experienced British and local coaches.

SSW dry slope camps are delivered in collaboration with local clubs at their home slopes, creating high-quality race-focused training in a familiar environment. These camps are designed to complement regular club sessions, offering athletes additional structure, coaching input, and progression opportunities across all ability levels. They are a great way for skiers to sharpen their racing skills, gain exposure to different coaching styles, and train alongside athletes from across Wales, all while strengthening links between SSW and the club network and therefore the pathway.

Welsh Alpine Pathway camps provide athletes with the opportunity to train and race in a true alpine environment and form a key step within the national pathway. These camps expose athletes to higher training volumes, varied terrain, and international racing standards, while maintaining strong coaching support and structure.
The alpine pathway operates as a flexible seven-week programme, allowing families to pay per camp with no requirement to commit to the full programme. This structure gives athletes the freedom to access high-quality alpine training when it suits them, while still working towards clear pathway objectives. These camps support technical development, tactical awareness, and race preparation in conditions that cannot be replicated at home, and are ideal for athletes aspiring to progress into academies, national squads, or higher levels of competition.
